CLAIMING MILES IN TIE-UP SCREEN

Buffalo to Renovo Pool

 

169 miles – Based on a trip where train and/or power originates at Kennedy Road at Bison and terminates at the Sportsman Hotel in Renovo.  This was determined using the following calculations:

*          Kennedy Road to Clinton Street (Sou. Tier Line/Bison Runner) -

            418.5 – 421.8 equals 3.3 miles

*          Clinton Street to CP-GJ (Transco Wye and Ebenezer Running Track -

            1.7 – 5.7 equals 4 miles.

*          CP-GJ to Renovo (Sportsman Hotel at MP‑167.3)

            5.7 – 167.3 equals 161.6

*          TOTAL MILES = 168.9.  Since the computer doesn't deal in

            fractions, 169 should be claimed.

 

VARIABLES AT RENOVO

*         Farwell (MP-168.5) on Buffalo Line - Add 1 mile (170 miles)

*         CP-Drury (MP-165.6) on Buffalo Line - Subtract 2 miles (167 miles)

*         CP-North Drury (MP-162.3) on Buffalo Line - Subtract 5 miles (164 miles)

*          CP-South Keating (MP-158.0) on Buffalo Line - Subtract 9 miles (160 miles)

*          CP-Keating (MP-154.2) on Buffalo Line - Subtract 13 miles (156 miles)

*          ‘GW’ on RJ Corman Railroad - Subtract 11 miles (158 miles)

*          CP-North Keating (MP-153.2) on Buffalo Line - Subtract 14 miles (155 miles)

 

Remember that while rubber tired miles don't count, miles run with light power does.  Also, If you go beyond the terminal limits at Renovo (Farwell – MP-168.5) you should claim the additional miles plus a penalty 'PE' day.

As in Renovo, if you beyond the terminal limits; east of CP-Broadway, south of CP-Gravity, East of MP-428 (CSX-Chicago Line) and north of MP-14 (CSX-Niagara Branch), you have a penalty day coming.
